We are a group Japanese Expatriates living in Hong Kong.
We are all sharing the same feelings of immense sadness and distress after the recent disastrous 'megathrust' earthquake struck the north east coast of Japan.
On the 11th March at 2:46pm, early afternoon, a quake with a magnitude of 9.0 occurred followed by one of the largest tsunamis ever recorded causing massive destruction.
Those of us living abroad connected to this disaster are extremely frustrated we cannot share the weight and suffering of our most treasured families and do more to help all our loved ones at home tackling this situation...
We are not completely helpless though and can do a lot from here in Hong Kong to help rebuild all the beautiful lives destroyed back home.
We are all passionately involved in promoting charity activities collecting donations directed to the relief organisations currently operating in Japan.

- We are encouraging people to donate to these charities and also promoting and supporting shops, bars and restaurants operating 'donation collection box services'.

- We are providing information about the various ways you can donate to respectable charities involved, making it easier for anyone offering to help.

- We have Posters available in (5 colours, pdf format, English/Chinese/Japanese) outlining our cause, Logos (5 colours, pdf&jpg format), and approx 5000 + 8000 Stickers (5 colours) encouraging involvement and contributions by people and companies.

我們是居於香港的日本人。
3月11日約下午2時46分，於日本發生了黎克特制9.0級東北太平洋地震，家人及親友遭受到從未經歷過的創傷。
即使離開了日本生活，祖國和親友所受的傷害對我們而言也成為了非常大的悲傷和遺憾。
我們以不能分擔到的苦痛，希望能於遠方盡力做可做的事，為盡量多籌款項，現已開始了募捐活動。

◎活動內容
1。呼籲商店設置籌款箱
※注意：不會派發籌款箱及不會回收善款。作為主旨只會呼籲設置籌款箱。
2。呼籲個人捐款
※注意：具體上不會回收善款。作為主旨只會呼籲募捐。
3。傳播支持籌款信息
※注意：我們只會努力發放評定為可靠的信息，但不能保證信息的準確性。

私たちは香港に住む日本人です。
3 月 11 日午後 2 時 46 分頃、日本で起きたマグニチュード 9.0の東北地方太平洋沖地震で、家族や友達は経験したことのない被害に遭いました。
日本を離れて生活していても、母国と大切な人たちのダメージは私たちにもとても大きな悲しみと悔しさになりました。
苦しみを共有できない分、私たちが遠くからできることをしようと思い、できるだけ多くの義援金を集めるための活動をはじめました。

◎ 活動内容
1. 店舗へ募金箱の設置を呼び掛ける

2. 個人へ募金を呼び掛ける
